We are fortunate to have a skilled team of both operational and health and safety experts as part of our wider Provincial family, who provide support with centre wide operations, meaning the wonderful team here follow incredibly robust processes around hygiene and safety to ensure all tamariki, teachers and all those connected with the centre remain safe and well.
Alongside guidance from the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education, we have adapted our Infection Control Policies and Operational Protocols to reflect the learnings gained through the COVID-19 pandemic. These measures give us great confidence that centres will remain safe and healthy, all year round.
Whilst we cannot guarantee the elimination of all sickness, we wanted you to know that we will do our best. We feel it’s important that you as parents, caregivers and whānau are aware of what our team do here to keep the centre environment, clean, safe and nurturing for everyone.

Our team is vigilant with daily cleaning procedures and continue to support children with hand washing and daily hygiene practices.
Professionally Cleaned Every Week Day
Our centre environment is cleaned by professional cleaners every day, outside of operating hours -that’s 5 days a week and 260 times per year!
Low Tolerance to Illness
If children or staff are unwell, we ask that they stay at home.
In June 2020, we surveyed all of our enrolled families to hear about their feedback and experiences upon returning to their child’s ECE centre during the COVID-19 Pandemic, under Alert Level’s 3 and 2.
95% said they felt our procedures and protocols during the COVID pandemic were vigilant.
98% said our response to the pandemic made them feel open about returning to their child’s ECE centre.
98% said they felt well informed on our hygiene processes and protocols during the pandemic.
Parents were asked to rate their confidence in our ability to minimise the risk of COVID-19 in their child’s ECE centre. The average score was 9/10.

Regardless of our robust business policies, processes and procedures that sit behind the scenes, we have a strong belief in empowering our Centre Managers to lead their team to make decisions and operate their centres with a tailored approach that best reflects the needs and interests of their community. This allows them to retain and maintain their own unique identities.
